Do you want to be part of a motivated team that aims to find solutions to complex and demanding projects with reputable clients in the financial industry? Are you looking for opportunities to apply your skills to problems that matter in a work environment that values your identity and personality as your most important traits?

The excellent results that Finbridge consultants deliver every day have awarded us a high reputation with our growing customer base. To earn our clients' trust, we put an emphasis on expert knowledge and management skills with each of our team members. These skills are acquired both on the job and through a versatile programme for training and ongoing education that is adjusted to each consultant's individual requirements. Furthermore, our lean company structure and frequent team meetings facilitate a continuous knowledge exchange between all Finbridge employees.

Project work

We support banks in managing their change processes and provide guidance and expertise in the realisation of projects from early concept work to full implementation. We work closely together with our clients' internal staff members throughout the entire process chain until successful project completion.

Your career at Finbridge starts as a project team member with client exposure from day one. This means that your skills and expertise have an immediate impact on the project's success. But you are not left alone in the on-boarding process: experienced colleagues will guide you along the way and your designated mentor will always be there to answer any questions that come up. Your desk will typically be on your client's premises. These are located in major cities throughout Germany and other European Countries.

Business Consulting

Business consulting projects are mainly focused on conceptual and functional topics related to banks' risk management. This includes interpretation and concept work  for risk control, accounting, regulatory reporting, and treasury units. These type of projects typically take requirements of other stakeholders such as trading, IT, and credit departments into account and sometimes nearly the entire bank is affected and representatives of all relevant parties need to be brought to the table. Concept work includes not only the functional and theoretical aspects but also needs to lend itself to successful implementation. To this end, joint effort of all affected parties is necessary to find optimal solutions that fit your clients' functional needs whilst taking IT constraints and manageability of the resulting processes into account.

A main driver for business consulting projects are regulatory requirements, such as Basel IV, MaRisk, ICAAP/ILAAP, and new reporting requirements or accounting standards such as IFRS 9. Additionally, management and bank steering of market risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk are typical triggers for optimisation efforts in banks.

Financial Engineering

Pricing and modelling of complex financial derivatives are at the heart of analytically demanding financial engineering projects. Financial engineers have a thorough understanding of our clients' products, pricing engines, and trading platforms and apply this knowledge to the correct modelling of such products in the relevant inventory management systems.

Evaluation of appropriateness of pricing models for specific financial instruments and of required additional information such as market data are relevant tasks in such projects. Necessary adjustments to data or models are carried out directly in the clients' systems. If these systems lack required standard functions, extensions or alternative technical solutions are implemented by the financial engineers.

Integration

These projects focus on the development and implementation of technical solutions that support business processes in banks. In this context, our consultants play an interfacing role and translate between conceptual requirements and the appropriate technical realisation that will lead to fulfilment of such requirements. Therefore, relevant stakeholders are both the various line functions and IT departments. Integration projects involve software selection, implementation, and maintenance for relevant front office, back office, credit, reporting, and controlling software solutions.

Successful integration requires an optimised IT architecture which can only be sustained through tailor made implementation frameworks that govern data flows between participating systems. To this end, integration consultants define functional mappings that specify the exchange of data between these systems.

Personal Development

We encourage and support your personal and intellectual development throughout your entire career. This includes bespoke education, training and mentoring for each of our team members, sustained by early client exposure and fostering of managerial responsibility. On top of an above-average fixed renumeration, each of our team members participates directly in Finbridge's success through annual variable bonus payments. In order to accommodate various individual priorities and personal circumstances into our company, Finbridge also offers flexible working time models.
